A separate program product, based on an existing program product, that usually has significant new code or new function. Each version has its own license, terms, conditions, product type number, monthly charge, documentation, test allowance (if applicable), and programming support category. Note: Numbering of versions starts with 1.
“Version (and number)” is included in the program product title.
