In communications, a law that provides a measure for the capacity of a communication line in terms of its bandwidth and signal to noise ratio. According to the law the maximum transmission in bits per second is given by B*log2(1+S/N) where, B=bandwidth, S/N=signal /noise.
在通信学中,用带宽和信噪比来度量通信线路容量的一个定律,据此定律,线路的最大传输率 由下式给出: B*log2(1+S/N),其中B为带宽,S/N为信噪比。
