A device, instrument or system which transfers money.Existing payments mechanisms are :(a) cash;(b) checks;(c) credit cards;and (d) traveler’s checks. Electronic Funds Transfer System devices or systems are also payments mechanisms, e.g., automated check clearing,pointofsale systems,automated tellers, bill payment systems, etc.
