释义	talking terminal 讲话终端 A type of terminal that is a computerindependent, asynchronous, ASCII, dialup device and can be connected to any computer allowing this type of communication. The hardware for the terminal consists of a speech synthesis device, a microprocessor, a keyboard and an acoustic coupler.
