contact magnetic recording
接触式磁记录法
A magnetic recording method that the magnetic head is in contact directly with the recording medium surface to access information. Its advantages are simple mechanism and easy to implement the high density recording. The disadvantage is that the contact wear exists between the magnetic head and recording medium surface and it may make the reading／writing characteristic of system change as use time increases and affect the use life of the magnetic head and recording medium.
