In VM, the writing of console input/output on disk as a printer spool file instead of, or in addition to, having it typed or displayed at the virtual machine console. The console data includes messages, responses, commands, or data from or to CP and the virtual machine operating system. The user can invoke or terminate console spooling at any time .When the console spool file is closed, it becomes a printer spool file.
